Me behave? Seriously?
As a child I saw Tarzan almost naked
Cinderella arrived home after midnight 
Pinocchio told lies
Aladdin was a thief
Batman drove over 200 miles an hour
Snow White lived in a house with 7 men
Popeye smoked a pipe and had tattoos
Pac Man ran around to digital music while eating pills that enhanced his performance 
Shaggy and Scooby were mystery solving hippies that always had the munchies.

Eagles 1st Place Championship!!!

The score thru the 1st half and 2nd half was 0-0.
Then we went to added time and the score was still 0-0. 
Penalties decided this years champion!! talk about a nail biter :-)

Danny took one of the penalties and helped his team take 1st Place in their division.
In the end Isis was the only girl left on her team.
They reached their goal of CHAMPIONS!!! Way to go Danny & Isis!!!!!!!!!!

The boys are sick today

So Danny texts me today and lets me know he is feeling dizzy. I asked if he was pregnant & he was not amused by my lack of tenderness towards his illness. :-(  I suggested that he go lie down in the front office for a while to see if he got feeling better. He still was not impressed, his words to me were that it was a dumb idea to feel like crap at school.  O..K...A..Y  We brought the child home. After school I usually send Andrew (9 year old) a text about where he is supposed to go after school. Here is the conversation:

    MOM - Ruben is picking you up & taking you home.  Danny is at home feeling sick. Please take  care of him & let me know how he is feeling.
    ANDREW-I am feeling bad too but u dont see me wining
    MOM-Oh my goodness. What prompted that reply?  You are a hoot!!!!
    ANDREW-I dont even know what that means

I had to share these hilarious texts with my co-workers and they totally got a kick out of Andrews replies. 

Living Life......

Life is not a race - but indeed a journey. Be honest. Work hard. Be choosy. Say "thank you", "i love you" and "great job" to someone each day.  Go to church, take time for prayer.  The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh.  Let your handshake mean more than pen and paper.  Love your life and what you've been given, it is not accidental - search for your purpose and do it as best you can.  Dreaming does matter. It allows you to become that which you aspire to be.  Laugh often.  Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them. Some of the best things really are free. Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming.  Forgive...it frees the soul.  Take time for yourself & family - plan for longevity.  Recognize the special people you've been blessed to know & love.  Live for today & enjoy the moment.
