This is a fairly new tradition for the Anaya siblings. It started last year with my sister in law Imelda, her husband Ezequiel, Alberto & I going to Vegas to celebrate MX independence day. The four of us alone minus our kids (so nice :-) Last year we saw Luis Miguel and Alejandro Fernandez.
This year Albertos other sister Adriana and her husband Roberto went with us. The first day we got there we went shopping to the outlets. For our BIG EVENT, Imelda and I decided to go to Le Reve, at the Wynn. This was a truly amazing show! The actors were fabulous, the staging, costumes, dives etc were awesome! Meanwhile Alberto and Ezequiel took off to see Alejandro Fernandez (again--boring if you ask me). Well needless to say the plan was for them to not only drop us off but also to pick us up. Did they?? of course not! There show ended 2 hours after hours! Our walk back to the hotel was horrific! Both my sister in law and I were wearing high heels! This was definitely not my idea of having fun. All things considered, it was nice to get away (despite all the calls I recieved from Danny and Andrew telling me how much they were bored in Elberta) I am looking forward to next years fun!
